U-pick season is here!

It's here! Black currant picking season is here! Our farm will be open for you to come and pick some berries this coming Wednesday and Thursday, July 8th and 9th, from 4 pm to 8 pm. As this season is our first u-pick season ever, we don't really know how many of you will show up or how much berries you will pick. We have a limited amount of berries, so first come, first serve. U-pick black currants will be priced at $3/pound. No personal checks please.

If you come with your own bucket, please stop by at the weighing station to pre-weigh it, so we know how much weight to deduct when you fill it with berries. We also have 1 gallon and 2.5 gallon buckets available for you to pick into.

A few tips for you to keep in mind to make your visit to the farm more enjoyable: Please remember that you are coming to a real working farm with all the things that come along with it - bugs, bees, hot sun, dust on a windy day, mud on a rainy day, etc. So dress accordingly, closed toe shoes, long sleeve shirts, hats and sunscreen! We are renovating our almost century old barn this summer, there will be construction work in progress, so please stay clear of the old barn.

We will have a few farm products that we have created available for purchase on site: dry black currant tea mixes, black currant and red currant syrup, some herbs, raspberry and red currant plants, etc.

Can't wait to see you all at the farm!
